What is the Work Store valet storage service?
The valet storage service is a hassle-free way to make space and declutter, with just the touch of a button. You never need to visit our storage space in Singaporeas we collect and deliver your items to you whenever you want it.
Where is my stuff stored?
All items are stored in our storage facility equipped with 24-hour security system.
What are your operating hours?
For enquiries or delivery matters, please feel free to contact us anytime from 9am – 6pm on Monday – Friday and 9am – 1pm on Saturday.
What is the minimum storage period?
There is no lock in period, we only require our customers to store their items with us for at least 1 month.
Is the valet storage container safe for my items?
The valet storage boxes are made from industrial grade plastic materials designed specifically to safely store your stuff. They are waterproof and have tamper-evident security seals to ensure that your items are always kept sealed and safe until you decide to open the boxes again.
What can I store in the box?
Pretty much anything you need stored with the obvious exceptions being anything perishable, liquids, any illegal substances, explosives, flammable materials, hazardous materials or very fragile or high value items.
Do you provide packing services?
No, as we respect your privacy when it comes to the items you store in your boxes. When packing your items, please ensure that items are safely wrapped in bubble wrap or packaging paper if necessary. All items should be carefully packed so that they can be safely transported and stored.
How do I know how many standard boxes I need?
Each box measures 60L x 40W x 31.5H (cm). Depending on the items you’re storing, one box can store an average of 20 pairs of shoes, 10 winter jackets or 80 books. We have provided some storage ideas on our website for your reference. We can provide extra boxes upon requests and be rest assured that you will only ever be charged for boxes that you actually use. Is there a weight limit?
In consideration of our handling team, we hope you understand that we’ll require each valet storage boxor any bulky item to not weigh more than 20kg. If you have heavy items such as books, please separate them into multiple boxes.
How long can I keep the empty boxes for before they are picked up?
Can I use my own carton boxes to store my items?
All items which fit into the dimensions of the box must be packed into our custom-made industrial grade plastic container to ensure security of the items during transit and in storage.
Can I store items that don't fit into a valet storage box?
Apart from storing boxes, we can also store other odd size items as long as they are of a reasonable size and weight that one person can carry. Examples include sporting equipment (bicycles, golf clubs, snowboards, skis, wakeboards, etc.), luggage, small furniture, small appliances, etc. Our usual weight restriction of maximum 20kg per item applies for any items stored. How much advance notice do you need for ordering of empty boxes?
Please order your empty boxes before 3pm today to receive them by your preferred time slot tomorrow.
How much advance notice do you need for retrieval of my packed boxes/odd size items?
Schedule a retrieval for your box or odd size item before 12pm today to receive them by your preferred time slot tomorrow.
Can I get my stuff delivered to a different address?
Absolutely, just enter the address you need the items to be sent back to and we’ll deliver them there. If you want them to be delivered to another person, please enter their contact information. Upon delivery, please make sure they have a photo ID with them so that we can verify that your items are being delivered to the correct person.
Can the Work Store valet storage service help me move?

How many days do I have to unpack the boxes upon receiving my packed boxes?
How does Self-retrieval process works?

- Retrieval is available only on Mondays-Fridays, 10am – 12 pm, 2pm – 5pm. Not available on weekends and public holidays.

How and when do I pay for storage and deliveries?
We currently accept credit card, debit card and PayPal for automated billing via BRAINTREE. The first payment will be charged upon collection of packed storage boxes/odd size items and subsequent payment will be charged to your preferred payment method on the same date of each month.
What other fees should I be aware of?
What happens if I order more boxes than I need?
We do recommend that you order extra boxes than what you’ll need, just in case you underestimate how much stuff you want to store. We’ll collect all filled and empty boxes altogether and we’ll only charge you for the storage of boxes you have used.
What happens if I change my mind and send back all my boxes empty without storing them?
In the event that you do not have any filled boxesto store with us, we’ll have to charge fee of S$20 for transportation.
How much does a Work Store valet storage box cost?
If you wish to keep empty boxes for yourself, we’ll charge S$30 per container, as well as a delivery fee of S$20.
What happens if I miss a payment?
While we understand that there may be unforeseen circumstances that lead to a delay in payment, we do impose a fee for delinquent payments after 7 days from the due date. In the case of missed payments for an extended period of 60 days, we will be forced to auction off your items in order to settle outstanding payments, administrative fees, etc. Please see ourterms and conditions for further details.
I'll like to store my items for 1 month and x days. How much would I be charged?
Unfortunately, we’ll have to charge for the entire next month regardless if you store for 1 extra day or 20 extra days.
How do I securely close my valet storage box?
Ensure everything is well packaged with no items overflowing outside the box. The lids should interlock before you can add the two tamper-evident security locks into the rectangular hole in the centre at both ends of the box.
Will you open my boxes?
No. You pack and seal each box with our tamper-evident seals and we will not open them. However, if in the event required by the authorities or that we suspect there may be something dangerous, illegal or foul-smelling within the box, we will need to break open the seal. In such cases, we will try our best to get in touch with you prior to opening the box.
Can I visit your storage facility?
In order to ensure your privacy is well protected and for security reasons, our storage spaceis strictly prohibited from unauthorized access.
Are my items stored in your storage facility insured in the event of loss or damage?
Yes! We shall reimburse you up to the sum of S$10.00 per Box or Carton or any Odd Size Item placed in our storage facility, in the event of any loss or damage caused to your item which is not caused by you. Please refer to ourterms and conditions Clause 8.9 for the full details and exclusions.
My items are more than S$100 in value, can I get additional insurance coverage?
Sure! Additional insurance coverage can be purchased for as little as 14 cents per day for each box of contents up to a value of S$2,000.
However, valuable items such as jewellery or art works are not covered under the insurance plan. Please read the exclusions carefully.
